COMPACFOAM in window construction
Certified solutions for windows and doors
Challenges in the field of windows and doors that you are familiar with
Thermal insulation
Prevention of thermal bridges and simple and secure installation
Static challenges
High loads require materials with long-term load-bearing capacity.
Processing
Installing windows is very complex and time-consuming. Special tools are required for cutting to length, screwing, or milling substructures.
Moisture protection and durability
Decay and deformation of wooden substructures due to prolonged exposure to moisture.
Movement and settlement
Swelling and shrinkage due to changes in temperature and humidity jeopardize the functional reliability of the structure.
Diffusion behavior in material combinations
Diffusion-tight materials in contact with wood cause moisture accumulation and structural damage.
COMPACFOAM – the solution
Install windows and doors in the insulation layer (ETICS) without thermal bridges.
Technical characteristics:
Advantages: Better appearance, more daylight, solar heat gains, and improved energy balance and heat transfer.
More information
Strength with excellent thermal insulation and very low weight.
Technical properties:
Thermal bridge-free connection between window sill and masonry with optimal load transfer.
Technical properties:
Freedom in design: Compensates for construction tolerances through simple processing and prevents thermal weak points in the critical base area – for permanently tight and energy-efficient window sill connections.
More information
Pre-assembled insulation wedge for the second sealing layer with integrated 5° slope for water drainage.
Technical characteristics:
Special feature: Combines sealing function and thermal insulation in one component – eliminates dangerous thermal bridges at the critical window sill connection and ensures standard-compliant water drainage without costly on-site adjustments.
More information
Highly insulating compensation wedges for joint-tight window and door installation in the reveal.
Technical properties:
Special feature: Temperature stable from -50°C to +110°C – no thermal expansion leading to frame deformation or joint opening. Guaranteed permanent alignment over the entire service life.
More information
High-strength lightweight core for heat- and sound-insulating door constructions.
Technical properties:
Special feature: Dimensionally stable without warping or distortion – even with changing humidity levels. Enables slim, lightweight door constructions with excellent thermal and sound insulation for long-lasting precision fit.
More information
Thermal bridge-free installation in the insulation layer without risk of settling.
Technical properties:
Special feature: Diffusion-open and therefore ideal for contact with wood – prevents waterlogging and condensation.
Rot-proof alternative to solid wood sleepers with permanent dimensional stability.
Technical properties:
Freedom in design: cross-sections from 10x20mm to 600x400mm, lengths up to 6m, density 100-450 kg/m³, free milling.

Technical documentation
Comprehensive documentation for professional timber construction projects:
Static design and standard-compliant verification
Constructive connection details for timber construction and 15 years of experience in the design of building connections
Important note: COMPACFOAM is particularly diffusion-open (μ ≈ 25 according to EN 12086-1). This makes it compatible with open-pored wooden wall constructions without any problems. Lengths up to 6m, cross-sections from 10×20 to 600x400mm. 15 years of project experience and planning support from our application technology team available.
